Handstand show act "Vision"
Marina Skulditskaya - handstand and hula hoop artist from Stuttgart. In "Vision" I perform a handstand show act that brings strength and stillness together: hand balancing on a handstand table, carried by a dance-like choreography and the ethereal music of the Stuttgart sound artist "Piano Particles".
The handstand table rotates and works with wind and light effects that make the wide costume float – and that is where the act gets its name. It runs about five minutes, needs 3 x 3 metres of level floor and works indoors as well as outdoors.

The act comes from professional variety stages – among them the Friedrichsbau Varieté in Stuttgart and the Neues Theater Höchst in Frankfurt. Technical precision, clear lines and a calm, elegant expression rather than mere effect.
The handstand table as a prop of its own
The act is performed on a handstand table with rotation, wind and light effects. It sets the costume in motion and turns a feat of strength into an image – which is what sets it apart from plain hand balancing.
Also with live music
The act has been accompanied by live orchestras and big bands several times, among them the New Year's concert with the Capitol Symphony Orchestra. If your event has live music, we will work it out together.
Little technology, great effect
Three by three metres of level floor and 2.5 metres of ceiling height are enough. No rigging point, no structural survey, no hours of set-up – the act fits a variety stage as well as a ballroom or a foyer.

Gala for the Großer Preis des Mittelstandes at the Maritim Hotel in Würzburg
On 26 September 2026 I was part of the award ceremony for the Großer Preis des Mittelstandes at the Maritim Hotel in Würzburg. The Oskar-Patzelt-Stiftung honours Germany's most successful medium-sized companies there – this year from Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Hesse, Thuringia, Saxony and Berlin/Brandenburg, under the motto "Trust creates opportunity". I performed both of my acts that evening: my handstand show act on the handstand table and my hula hoop show. Many thanks for the warm welcome and an unforgettable evening in Würzburg! From 4 December: the International OVAG Christmas Revue at the OVAG Theater DOLCE in Bad Nauheim
From 4 December 2026 until 1 January 2027 I will be performing my handstand show act in the first International OVAG Christmas Revue at the OVAG Theater DOLCE in Bad Nauheim. The new festive revue format brings together international artistry, acrobatics, comedy and live music, hosted by Rebecca Siemoneit-Barum and accompanied by Anthony Bauer jr & His Orchestra. The show runs for about three hours including the interval. I am really looking forward to such a long run, right through Advent and Christmas and into the new year – it would be lovely to see you in the audience in Bad Nauheim!

The video of my handstand show act from the closing night of Varieté Herbst 2025 at the Neues Theater Höchst in Frankfurt is now online. I perform my act on my handstand table with rotation, wind and light effects, accompanied by the theatre's wonderful live band. And because a closing night is always about having fun, too, David Burlet brings me a glass of sparkling wine on stage in the middle of the act. Enjoy!

How long is the handstand show act?
About five minutes. That is the length that has proven itself at galas, corporate events and in variety theatre. On request I perform the act several times in one evening or combine it with my hula hoop show.
What stage and what technology do you need?
A level area of 3 x 3 metres and at least 2.5 metres of ceiling height. Plus a sound system – I bring the music. Lighting is optional but adds a great deal. No rigging point and no structural survey are needed.
What is the handstand table?
A purpose-built prop: a rotating column with handstand canes, wind and light effects. It makes the costume float and turns the act into an image rather than a display of strength alone. I bring it with me.
Is the act possible outdoors?
Yes, as long as the ground is level and dry. I regularly perform at summer parties and open-air events – we only need to check the surface and the wind beforehand.
What does the handstand show act cost?
