Marina Skulditskaya - A gala evening lives on special moments. As a handstand and hula hoop artist with decades of stage experience, I offer artistry at variety theatre level: technical precision, clean lines and an elegant, aesthetic style of expression that matches the festive setting of your gala.
My journey has taken me from the Grand Prix of the International Festival of Veszprém, via engagements in Japan, the USA, the United Arab Emirates and South Africa, to German variety stages such as the Friedrichsbau Varieté in Stuttgart. In 2013, the trade magazine Künstlermagazin named me Artist of the Year in the handstand equilibristics category.

Frequently Asked Questions About Booking for Gala Evenings
How much does a show act for a gala cost?
The fee depends on the venue, the date and the scope of the booking. The closer your gala is to Stuttgart, the lower the travel costs. Send a non-binding enquiry – you will receive an individual quote with all costs included.
How do you coordinate with our event technicians?
Your technical crew and stage direction receive all the necessary information on music, lighting and stage requirements while the quote is being prepared. On the day of the event I arrive in good time for the rehearsal, so everything runs like clockwork.
Is a performance with a live orchestra or band possible?
Yes. My shows have been accompanied by live orchestras and big bands on several occasions, including the New Year concert with the Capitol Symphony Orchestra in Neunkirchen. We will work out the details individually.
What kind of stage do you need?
A level area of 3m x 3m and a ceiling height of at least 2.5 metres are all it takes – on professional stages just as well as on an open area in the ballroom. Sound and lighting are coordinated with your technical crew.
Can both show acts be performed on one gala evening?
Yes, in fact that is a very popular choice: the elegant handstand show "Vision" during the festive part and the lively hula hoop show "Swingtime" as a second act later in the evening.
Can you put together a complete gala programme with several artists?
Yes. Many years on variety and gala stages have given me an excellent network of hosts, magicians and other performers, and I will gladly put together a complete variety-style evening programme for you – from the compère to the closing act, tailored to your audience and budget.
